I’ve been asked what my symbol means, if it means anything at all.
Anyone who has worked with me knows that I believe that every symbol
has a meaning and a mythology, and this one is no exception.
The symbol – ‘meshing gears’ – was developed in response to my desire to represent an integrated whole, complete with upward and
downward expression, light and dark – all brought together in an
encapsulated unit that resonates and at the same time leaves room for
creative interpretation. Plus, I thought it looked like a very cool combination
of the primitive and the post-modern.
